The animation industry in India. Is it just sweat shops or is there a creative future? |
There is a future for creative persons in the field of animation, coz now a days lots of international clients are outsourcing their jobs to indian animation company, so we hav to produce actually what they want and we can use our creativity to enrich those products.... |

With big name like Warner Bros, DreamWorks, Disney and Sony outsourcing their animation to India, the industry has never looked better. The growth is only obvious. And the growth curve has only begun to surge up as the industry and the drivers of the industry are realizing the growth potential. However, like outsourcing boom in other industry has proved, India cannot only survive offering pricing as a key factor to attract projects. India lags behind Philippine, Korean or Taiwan studios in terms of quality of the service we offer. India not only has skilled manpower as an advantage but the fact that we in India understand and to a certain extent imbibe the western culture can act as a catalyst for growth. Also we have a reasonable understanding of the western culture which will make India stand out as a service provider of choice. But this transformation has to be quick or the growth curve will plateau. |
